Playing as the season changes
This started as a back and white photo copy. Using Golden gel medium I transferred the image onto the inside cover of an old book. After it dried I rubbed off the copy paper, messed around with colors and a few ink strokes then I added the word "PLAY" because it was appropriate. This is the way I play.
The  Inspiration Avenue challenge this week was to make a vintage looking piece using a word from a list.
When given an opportunity I always choose "PLAY"!

Samhain Blessings to you.
Celebrate, worship, play, enjoy the seasons change however you choose.

  2. I've never transferred something like that. I have to try it. Looks pretty good. What is life without PLAY. Take care Gemma and yes I freeze the butternut squash too.

  10. You get a lot better coverage from your gel medium transfers than I! Guess it's because I think they are work and you think they are PLAY. Love the background colors that seem to bleed together. Simply stunning and a great piece for this challenge.
