dia de los muertos celebration

Calacas Enchanted skulls

bucket of bones

Frida Shrine
I am fortunate to live here in the desert Southwest. Today I participated in this celebration at the Desert Botanical Garden. Many were honored here. The music of Lhasa de sela played in the background. May she RIP.

  1. Very nice tribute gemma. I have never heard of Lhasa de sela. She sounds just wonderful. Thanks for sharing your calacas and ofrenda. Have a great Monday.

  2. The southwest is just magical for the images that are congered for Day of the Dead. Love it all.

Have not heard of Lhasa de sela. She has passed? So young.

  3. what an absolutely brilliant place!! you are blessed to live there xo

  4. Looks like fun. I love the Frida shrine.

  5. I think it's interesting to get to see how different areas and different cultures celebrate holidays. Thanks for sharing. xoxo
