  4. Hi Gemma. I love treasures like that. I have my Grandma's old and I mean old Signature sewing machine. I did a post on it before. They are indeed treasures that we will have forever. I like that, "a few bits and bogs." Very nice Gemma.

  7. I love such old treasures - especially things like that beautiful embroidery - so many hours and so much love went into their making. Still have my great-grandma's button box. Things loved and passed down are the most precious kind of treasure...

    Those old pillow cases were so pretty and stitched by hand. My mother and mother-in-law had them. Their hands were never idle - always working on something. You're very luck to have them.

  10. I was shocked and pleased that my Aunt Mary gave me a set of Grandma's embroidered pillowcases. Of course she threw away the button box - worthless to her - full of memories for me.
