Nature DevasYesterday I took the road that leads away from Sedona into Beaver creek area. While driving I felt compelled to stop near a little one lane bridge. The sign said "Red Tank Draw".
When I got out of the car,I was greeted by a strong presence. First I thought "faeries"!!! Soon however I realized there were many types of nature deva's there. I spent some time in total awe and peace.

After I got home I googled Red Tank Draw and found these pictures. Apparently others before me had also felt the presence there. The last photo here is a stick figure shaman carved by native people centuries ago.I didn't see this petroglyph yesterday. But I will go back and look for it next time.

  1. That is beautiful Gemma. If I were there I would have probably say I felt a "presence" there with me. Place like this, I am always in awe of. Have a great 4th of July and Happy Late Anniversary and a Happy Birthday to your grandson. Take care.

I really must visit AZ, hubby keeps saying we should go there. He so loved his short visit last year.

  5. I can see why you thought of it as a sacred place. Was this on a "Road Less Traveled"?
