Listening to the world.
This year I chose the word Listen
as my focus word.
Sometimes I don't listen.
To those of you who have told me things that I have not heard
forgive me.
Look around at the trees, the plants, the birds, the shadows. Are they trying to tell you something?
Hear the murmur?
beautiful sedum and verbena. what a great combination... it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI listened yesterday and heard the nature spirits! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSometimes, when I listen to nature around me, I am filled with a sense of awareness and bliss.
ReplyDeleteBtw, pretty pics ~ :)
Oh what gorgeous succulents! And their colors are so very pretty too! I often feel like no one listens to me!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, the world does speak to us all, I'm convinced. The trick, for me, is to get quiet and still enough to hear.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post, Gemma!
I love the succulents. We all have to listen to nature when we are outside. We have to let ourselves become one with the beauty and the sounds of one's garden. Thanks Gemma. I love any type of cactus, especially nopalitos. :D Take care.
ReplyDeleteWe are all guilty of not listening at times. Some times it is hard to hear through the roar of everyday life. Time in the garden can cure that.
ReplyDeletebig hugs
xo
BTW..the crystal is very very special to me..xxx
At this very moment I'm listening to the most beautiful songbird right outside my window!
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't been around much lately. Just busy and not enough hours in the day!
Listen to the heartbeat of the universe ! come look at the incredible flower that was 'shouting' at me..ha ha
ReplyDeleteHi Gemma. I came to let you know that you are a winner in my giveaway. Congrats! Come to my blog to read how to get your bangle. Take care and hope you had a good day at your work.
ReplyDeleteYou're so right. We sit on our deck before dinner and listen to the birds and then the night sounds as night comes on. So peaceful.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to be still enough to listen ... even when everything else is quiet ... sometimes I can't turn off my mind!
ReplyDelete"Listen" will be my mantra for the weekend. Thank you!
My keyword this week is "Watch". I have been keenly watching those new birds in my yard so as to find out their identity. It is very frustrating as each one seems to have variations.
