Outside

Outside in the rock garden I have lavender blooming with
a scent that hugs my soul. A painted face watches from a nearby stone.
There's a chill in the air as the sun prepares to set.
Inside
A little painted pitcher sits in front of some blue willow that belonged to my Mother. Tea from the pitcher poured into thimble sized teacups for Tille who's 3 makes us both happy.

It's been a good day here at home.

  1. I like your mellow thoughts and also the lavender. Lavender is very soothing. You can make a tea from it as well. I have about 3 varieties way out in back. They don't like much water. Tomorrow I am walking out in back to see if any are in bloom.I like Blue Willow but only have a cup and saucer. Thank you for giving me a calming effect. I am now ready to go study....that is after I visit a few more blogs. hehehehe. Take care Gemma.

  9. That painted face on the rock is so haunting and mystical. Are you sure she is not the deity of the winds?
