For the latest challenge atFollowing the masters
here is my interpretation of Leonardo DaVinci's St. Anne's head.
Leonardo is my hero. Trying to capture the delicate detail and softness of his work is practically impossible. Especially difficult to do the portrait of St. Anne. I tried painting her but ended up submitting this pen and pencil drawing. What a pleasure it is to spend time with his work.
It is lovely....very delicate and sensitively done!
