Corsica France

The destination at Virtual paint out
this month is Corsica France. What a beautiful adventure this has been.

The architecture and the patina of the old buildings is gorgeous.
I love tile roofs, old stucco, balconies and archways. From the snow-capped mountains to the sandy shores,I am enthralled with Corsica.

If you are so inclined please stop by the site and see what I mean.
My art is posted there.

  2. This is beautiful, Gemma. I love that patina you mentioned and it shows brilliantly in this piece. I also like how you've captured the light play on the walls of the buildings. Just a wonderful painting of Corsica!

  4. I love your painting. The pastel colors are warming. Great job Gemma. I wish I could paint buildings, homes, and lay of the land. I can't though, I've tried many times. You did a really good job. Thanks for sharing.

  6. I went to the site and decided to try to guess yours before I read the name because you usually have a certain less-is-more style. I came to this brightly colored painting and said "wow, I like this one the most so far" forgetting all about name guessing. Then I saw "gemma". Double wow. This is awesome.
