Art Nouveau angel face
The faces are made of sculpty clay, fired and painted.
Their wings are green and gold brocade
with swirls and flourishes.
The angels have wild hair
(the only style I know.)
These little angel faces ornaments I am making
fit into this weeks Inspiration avenue theme :
Art Nouveau.
They will have wires for hanging.

What a lovely idea, Gemma! I'm with you on the wild hair thing too!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with these angels. They are also outside the norm that you usually make. As for wild hair, I have not owned a comb since 1985. I always say my fingers are all I need for this unruly, but very short cut mess.
ReplyDeleteOf course angels look best with wild hair! I love these, so ethereal and delicate.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful angels! Is there any other kind of hair rather than wild? If there is, I don't know about it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT idea- I LOVE these especially their hair!
ReplyDeletehow innovative! they are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique idea. Great job!
ReplyDeleteStay inspired!
I love the opulent gold and how they're all different. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWild-haired angels are the most wondrous kind! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThese are very pretty, I love how inquisitive they look. Beautiful job and they would look so pretty and welcoming hanging in a person's home! P.S. Love working with Sculpey too, wonderful sculpting details you have here (-:
