Picasso collage

This week Inspiration Avenue is paying respect to Pablo Picasso.
I chose to make a collage to honor his painting "REST."

Being a vintage woman,
Rest means more to me now than it ever has before.
I need all the rest I can get!
Shhhh
The joys of an afternoon nap.

    Gemma,

    I'm not sure that I don't prefer yours over Pablo's. I much prefer the colors in yours. Of course, that may be because I just had a good rest (grin).

    Awesome job, Gemma! I had never seen this Picasso piece before. No one does disjointed like Picasso! LOL Klimt runs a close second. Your piece is brilliant!

    I love your use of color in your piece. I was not familiar with "Rest" either, but I believe you have emulated it very well, and made it your own!

    I don't recall seeing this piece by Picasso but I agree with the other comments....I like yours better! Your color choices are much more interesting.

    I love your piece. The colors are so vibrant and give the piece a fresh feel to it. It is very Picasso inspired and so lovely.

    Wow, Gemma, this is gorgeous- and I agree with the others- I like yours better than Picasso's- also, I have to say, it makes me think of Chagall as well.....another of my faves :)
    Oh, and NEVER underestimate the value of a really good nap :D

    Oh Gemma! I love an afternoon nap...20 or 30 minutes means the world to me...so many dreams. I won't get into that...Your piece is exactly the feeling I have. Brava, girlfriend, Brava!
