Souix Indian woman with traditional deerskin beaded dress |
This past weekend Lee and I went to the Indian Market held here in Arizona. It is the largest display of native American arts and crafts, music, dancing and food in the world. It was a wonderful day. I loved the native flute music, cedar fires, Navajo fry bread, and chatting with the various artists.
I love the fry bread. It's so easy to make. She is just a beautiful woman with the traditional attire and beads. great photo. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow! That beaded deerskin dress is amazing! And what a beautiful woman she is....very elegant and regal looking. Sounds like you had a good time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful native dress (and beautiful lady too). This sounds like my kind of day, Gemma. Glad you had a great day yourself.
ReplyDeleteThe beaded dress is really something. Sounds like a fun day. How fortunate to have such a display of native American arts and crafts. We have some here, too, but not as much as I'd like.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous. Fry bread is soooo good. I made in often back in the 70's. Hmmm, I wonder why I stopped?
