Welcome May

All on the same bush

In the park where I sometimes walk
in the rose garden,
someone has been trying to fool with Mother Nature.
I think it worked.

It's Beltane.
A Celtic word for the month of May.
Usually celebrated on May first because that is
the midway point between the equinox and the solstice.
Happy May to you all.

Oh and don't forget to stop and smell the roses.

  1. Beautiful roses! I always wonder how they make that happen. There's a rose bush right down the street from us and it has several different colors on it....but it's not nice to fool with Mother Nature!

  5. Funny you should have these pictures of the rose bushes with different roses. My husband discovered that one of our rose bushes which are pink, has an orange rose growing from it. We checked to be sure it was from the same rose bush and twiddly dee, it was! I have to take a picture of it. I've been meaning to and thanks for reminding me. Nice place to walk. Have a great rest of the week.
