Wow, what beauty. I never knew their name Gemma. Thanks for letting me know. You see, I started out with two from my dad long ago and now I have about 25 to 30 out in the back yard. Sometimes they fall but we just pick them up and re-plant them. My dad's plants live on, much happiness to me. Thanks again for the name, have a great Wednesday.
I can remember when we were visiting the US, and we drove through the desert [not far from you, I am sure] and seeing those cacti.. so tall.. amazing site :)
What a fantastic photo! I love the perspective. Mostly we have Joshua trees around here but I love seeing cactus in the desert. They seem very old and wise.
