Sometimes we talk at the same time...
both of us wanting the other to know
something or another.
Should I try to convince you
of the rightfulness of my words?
This year I'll be listening more
which I believe will enrich my life
and connect me to
the throb of the universe.
What is your word for the new year?
Happy New Year to you and yours dearest Gemma. Love Hugs and Blessings

you know me,
i do not want to miss a thing!
so
i was thinking,
maybe my word should be---> Edit.
what do you think?
I have been trying to come up with a word for a while now, however I haven't found the right one yet. I will let you know when I find it. Brave is one I might choose. I am not feeling like I have anything to offer in the work world and maybe if I were more brave, I would feel I could go and expose myself to the possibility of rejection. Hmm...I will find one.
ReplyDeleteMaybe "rejoice" would be a good for me. It is time. Love this little sketch too, Gemma. Hoping 2010 is just fabulous for you!
ReplyDelete"...connect me to the throb of the universe..."
ReplyDeleteOh, gemma, you have such a talent for phrasing things beautifully. Your word is a lovely choice.
My word for 2010 is FOCUS. :)
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! LIstening is a great word. Not only is listening to others rewarding but so is listening to our hearts. I have a few words but top on my list is "becoming." My intention is to become what I've been hoping for. All the best to you in this new year.

YES! Well that's not my word, that's my response to your word.
ReplyDeleteMine, I think, is attention.
I hope 2010 will bring beauty and discovery to you, Gemma.
great choice for a word, mine is Bliss. Wishing you a blissful day.
ReplyDeleteKate
I choose HEART. Perhaps I can learn to open my heart again. And feel peace in my heart. Let laughter trickle through my heart again. Put the fragments of my heart back together. Yes, I think heart can be a beautiful word. xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI cannot find a word yet. Everything is so cold and dead up here that I can't get my brain to work, much less be creative.
ReplyDeleteI'm late coming by to see all your posts.
ReplyDeleteI think, like Sheila, that "contentment" must be it. I was commenting to Steve today, that I feel "content".
